The Ocean is our R&D lab.

Sol Wetsuits was founded by surfers who spend a lot of time in the ocean. They wanted only the best premium Japanese rubber hugging their skin with a soft, truly premium interior.  We use Yamamoto rubber for its rare combo of warmth, lightness, and  flex—then elevate comfort with a finer, hydrophobic jersey.

Designed with the Planet in Mind Our wetsuits are made using limestone based Yamamoto rubber rather than traditional petroleum-based neoprene. Limestone rubber is cleaner to  produce, lasts longer, and reduces waste.  A wetsuit that performs better and lasts longer means fewer replacements — and less material ending up in landfills.
